1994 Toyota Celica ST review from North America
"Style and performance for cheap"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
First thing to go wrong with my car was the engine which broke a piston skirt and cost $1000 to have fixed (U.S. dollars).
Second was the clutch which I got replaced for $450.
Both of these problems happened back to back around 98,000 miles.
Another problem that happened which I am in the process of fixing is the motor mounts, but they are easy to replace.
General comments?
Great car with very serious style.
Cabin and seats are comfortable and roomy, but snug and tight in turns.
Car is a real street car and parts are easy to find to upgrade, just takes some looking.
I am actually about to put a Erebuni body kit and 17in rims on mine within a couple of weeks.
This car accelerates faster than the eclipse and civic and some lancers that are just stock.
Great in turns as well, and even in rainy conditions its glued to the road.
