Sunroof electric motor seized
seized brake caliper
alternator failed at 110000 miles
central locking stopped working on passenger side.
The car is a little disapointing in stock form.
With a few minor tweaks this car transforms itself into a very quick and capable A and B road tarmac terrorist.
Handling wise it does need a few upgrades poly bushes struts and springs, but as most of the original equipment on the car will be 10 years+ old its worth doing.
Spacious in the front with a well laid out cockpit.
Cramped in the back for Adults, but acceptable for a coupe.
Stunning looking car it still doesn't look dated and surprises most people when they are told it's a 15 years old car.
I am looking at getting a 1990 GT 4 turbo and was really surprised to realise that this car is 15 years old. Very stylish car though. Better looking then most cars on the road today I would say. I have a 1978 LT liftback that I am fixing up and am keen to stay within the Celica family.
