1990 Toyota Celica GT review from North America
"Excellent all round, fast-looking sporty compact"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
None!
General comments?
The look of the car is definitely eye-catching, with a style that never dies.
I've rated the performance of this car relatively low because its acceleration absolutely stinks and the 5SFE engine is weak. However, I overcame this by just adding a turbo. Not much in terms of modifying and upgrading in performance unless you custom make it.
Do you like music? The sound is incredible in this car with a decent aftermarket stereo system.
Also, the Celica is a Toyota, and therefore, very reliable. Even with a turbo, I expect my engine to last longer than a Honda's.
