1988 Toyota Corolla XL review from Costa Rica
"Mega-super-excellent reliable comfortable economic car"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Need to change the power windows switch, but since they are too old, Toyota don't manufacture it no more.
Really hard to find.
In fact if you know about this part (buttom, not the motors) please email me vinicio_f@msn.com
General comments?
I have a 1.3 XL corolla 1988 carb Japanese.
I just love it.
I got it with 200000 km and now has 280000 km.
Here in Costa Rica, the gas price is high as heaven, and this car is very economic.
The motor was rebuild in 2005; a total overhaul.
I changed the carburetor because the old one got broke because of the normal use.
I just painted it. In fact this is the first repaint after new (it wasn't bad, I just wanted to paint it again)
