"I love my corolla!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I LOVE MY COROLLA! However, there are a few things to note although not serious.
- Belt is noisy when started in the morning. I took it in at 35000 miles before the warranty expired. Amazingly the dealer couldn't "hear it". Of course it's only noisy until it warms up.
- The door beams had started to rattle and squeak at the windows at 30K miles.
- A couple of blown speakers even though I'm not a volume-cranker. The warranty did cover replacement with absolutely no hassles.
- The trunk release in the front misses occasionally but some WD-40 took care of that problem.
General comments?
The above "flaws" are hardly anything to get excited about.
My car gets 420 miles on a strict highway drive. I did notice that when I put in 92 octane as opposed to 89 it increased from 400 miles to a tank. Wow! I didn't think it would matter that much.
My husband is 6' 1" and drives this comfortably. Great cabin room for a little car.
Negotiating traffic is a piece of cake with it's nimble handling and quick acceleration, which you don't find in most 4 cylinders.
