1985 Toyota Corolla review from North America
"Bulletproof!!!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Replaced starter at 190000.
replaced distributor at 185000.
all general wear problems, no defective problems.
This car is 23 years old!
General comments?
I have owned 3 Corollas, 1x 1984, 2x 1985. These cars are "bulletproof" or the most reliable cars that I have owned.
One would not buy this car for performance, but for reliability and economy it is difficult to beat.
Parts are easy to find and very reasonable.
This car does not have a bunch of electronics to fail, therefore no expensive sensors to replace.
This car is not fuel injected, so a carburetor could be expensive.
