1989 Toyota Corolla SR5 review from North America
"Very good reliable car"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Nothing at all, a very good car.
The only thing I find is that the body panels are not very strong on all Toyota`s in the older years. The body on my Corolla is in good shape due to a repaint.
There is a hole in the driver's side floor that I will have to take care of.
General comments?
When I was looking for a car to purchase I came across the Corolla, I saw it for sale in a parking lot and I took it for a road test and I was sold. It drives like it just come out the showroom. It has a lot of mileage, but that`s OK, it`s a Toyota.
The only downfall is that I find it lacks in interior space.
Headlight motors are weak on all Toyota`s.
