Very little except normal maintenance.
A 110.000kms with one set of tires and 125.000kms with one set of discs and pads is not bad...
The fuel pump broke down at 250.000kms.
The clutch needed replacement at 380.000kms.
Because of an accident (related to my own stupidity) the right hand door was replaced and whistles ever since.
This car is extremely reliable, starts right away after standing still for three weeks on a hill and drives fully loaded with 5 190cm mountaineers and pack 150km/h on the motorway in Germany over the Alps in one day without breaking a sweat.
I owned three diesel Corolla's before and they all where reliable, but this is the only I kept for 10 years and I will see when it finally stops...
Comfort, handling and speed are OK, but not special.
It looks uninspired, but not ugly.
Superb build quality which relates to the reliability.
Even the seats have not worn out yet.
Hey.. keep us up to date with how she lasts... see if we can make half a million miles!
You know that he is talking about KM.. which I think are about 266.000miles.. (1 mile is 1,6 Km right?)
But still, 425.000km is Godlike!
That's the best car I've ever drove, old fashioned, but very reliable, exept shock absorber mounting, wich went after 100 miles.
