1991 Toyota Corolla XL Station Wagon review from Australia and New Zealand
"A Basic Boring Reliable Car with loads of cargo space"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
CV Joints needed replacing.
General comments?
This car is extremely reliable, the reason we got rid of it was because I crashed it! If I didn't, it'd still be with us for years to come.
The actual drive is smooth and normal, no turbo power! or turbo boost! Just a good granny's car.
The steering is light and easy to handle.
Because ours was a station wagon we had a lot more room in the back, the seats folded down as well so we could fit bikes in there.
The actual shape is boring and simple. It sure hasn't got any Alfa Romeo traits!
The cabin was the main attraction for us to purchase the car, the dashboard has such an innovative design that makes the cabin seem bigger than it actually is.
However the back seats are very uncomfortable for anyone 10 or up on a long trip. They're practically vertically angled and the feet space is really small.
