Only minor problems like fuel pump needing to be replaced and ballast resistor but no other real problems.
Very reliable car.
Not too much in way of features with only a AM/FM radio and no air conditioning, but gets the job done.
Performance is not too bad considering the 1.3l engine, but don't expect to get up to 100km/h (60mph) too quickly.
Quite fun to drive especially as it is quite light.
I was interest to hear how reliable you found your KE70. I have an Estate version which I got new in 1988. It has now done 275,000 ks. The original engine is still fitted - has never been out or needed anything beyond spark plugs and ignition points - which being "old" technology are easy to fit and very cheap - unlike the "Black box" ignition systems today.
However it has gone through TWO starter motors - although to be fair the second one was a 2nd-hand replacement from a wreck.
It began making bad groaning noises from the gearbox at about 220,000 ks. New lay shaft bearings were going to cost heaps so I sourced another whole car of the same model for $400NZ and took the gearbox from this. Even though it had 250,000 ks up it was still sound and is going fine in my KE70 (and I have a full set of spares.
Good luck with your car. You still have many thousands of reliable k's ahead.
