I bought the Corolla cheap because it was long out of registration, had some rust, body damage, and no 3rd gear.

Since then I've fixed it up and use it as a daily driver.

The car has oil leaks and idle a bit high.

Best car I've bought yet!!!

For a 1.6 liter 4 cylinder this thing flies and there still isn't many cars with this sized engine and can produce this much power.

I've done several long distance trips in it and the car has done the trips with no problems and made the kilometres go by quickly.

Handling isn't too bad, could be a little better - nothing a set of wheels and sports suspension can't fix!

I'm planning to save up and put a supercharged corolla engine in to make it an even quicker car.

Hey dude I have the same car as you and I agree the car is good, although I blew my third gear, so I think that could be a weakness, anyway I've got my car up 188km/ph, now that is a adrenlin rush, I see you want to get the 4AGZE supercharged engine, I think you should get the 4AGE 20v that came in the toyota levin then turbo charge that, because they are putting out 120kw standard so with a turbo it would be like 180kw.

I have the corolla F X and I make a overhaul and by the breath of valves case get out much smoke like more a compression invert I want a somebody knows of that problem.
