2000 Toyota Corolla CE review from North America
"We will not buy a Toyota again"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Needed to replace engine at 106,000 kilometers.
Brakes went at 70,000 kilometers.
Steering wheel is loose.
Water pump went at 50,000 kilometers.
Interior dash lights went at 80,000 kilometers.
General comments?
We contact Toyota Canada to reimburse us for the cost of the new engine. They turned us down as we did not have a detailed maintenance log. They said "If it isn't in writing, it didn't happen". We were appalled by the callous attitude.
