2005 Toyota Corolla S review from North America
"Looks good, reliable, lacking power"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Absolutely nothing so far.
General comments?
The car is not as responsive, lacks adequate feedback. Living in New York, some of the highway ramps are steep (BQE) and with such lack of power, getting on the lane can be tough. The S model is more show than go. I wanted the XRS, but my folks isn't much inclined toward a manual. However, the car has not had a single problem yet. Replaced the oil at 5500 miles. A little noisy, but ride is quite smooth. Swaying is tolerable in windy drives on highway.
Fuel Economy and general reliability of Toyota makes this a very affordable car.
