"Oh What a 25 Year Old Feeling!"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

RR Leaf Spring

Heater Controls

Heater Core

battery

tires

clutch

driver seat track

hatch lift struts.

General comments?

I bought her for 50 bucks from a city dweller who didn't want to fix her anymore or have room to park her. So, a little rubbing compound, a lot of elbow grease and a c-clamp, I have a trusty commuter car to replace my Dodge Truck (imagine the difference in fuel economy!)

She runs great and in Washington State, I don't have to get emissions testing to license a 25 year old car!

Did it come with a warranty and a full tank of gas?

Seriously though, congratulations.

You've beaten the system.

What gas mileage do you get with this car? EPA web site does not have information about cars older than 1985.

26 mpg on a bad week (low speeds, high rpm's, lots of stop and go)

32 mpg on a regular week 70/30 Highway/City.

That's great! I just bought an 82 in hopes of making a unique daily driver. It leaves a little to be desired in the acceleration department, but I hope the mileage is as good as you stated.
