Rotors and calipers replaced at 250'000km.
Car requires new shocks front and rear. Driving on dirt roads take its toll I guess.
Amazing vehicle.
It is not a race car, however if you are like me, and don't feel like laying underneath cars doing repairs on weekends, look no further. I will buy Toyota again and again.
I have a 1987 Toyota Corolla LE that I'd bought for a mere $300 several months ago. It has 187,956 miles.
I think I got it so cheap because the owners thought it had an electrical problem. Turned out the alternator was not installed correctly. I fixed that myself. Of course I had to get a new alternator and battery after that, but it is OK now.
This car has the 1.6L, 4 cyl. engine with a carburetor. The body and interior are like new though the car is 18 years old. It is silver with black interior. It is great on gas, a must with gas prices so high right now. It is a realiable car that burns no oil. I think it is the best $300 I've spent yet!
