1982 Toyota Corolla 2 door review from North America
"Excellent car considering it's going on 19 years old"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
No mechanical attention required other than replacing the water pump and battery once.
General comments?
Primary use of vehicle was for its extremely low consumption of fuel while travelling to and from college several years ago. Although I recently purchased a Toyota 4Runner, I alternate vehicles every other week (A week, B week) in order to keep miles low on the 4Runner (19mpg) while saving fuel on Corolla (35mpg).
Car has traveled several times to Mexico, California, Utah and Wyoming flawlessly. Not the fastest or most comfortable car but will get the job done. *Wife insists I sell the vehicle. I tell her she will probably go first =)
