General comments?
I bought this 1992 model in 1994 when Toyota introduced a face lift Corolla model (1992 model with new lamps and grill). The car was in very good condition, the previous owner rarely used it (he used only for short distance from his home to his shop).
The 4A-FE engine is one of the most efficient engine Toyota ever invented. According to my mechanic, the engine almost never give the owner problems as long as he/she maintains it regularly. This mechanic told me recently (in 2005) that he never done any major overhaul to any 4A-FE engines in his shop. This prove how reliable and durable this type of engine is.
