General comments?
This corolla is a great car. I bought this car about a year and a half ago. In that time the only thing done was the started it was expensive. The labor and started came to about $500. I've put about 23k miles on it and it's been a champ. I've done 4 trips from Wisconsin to Nebraska. And a 45 minute trip to work for a long time. The gas mileage on this car is great. The downfall to this car is its size. No backseat room. Trunk has good space. One thing that really suprises me about this car is the acceleration. It has a 1.8 liter engine and man it's FAST. It gets regular castrol sythetic oil changes. That's the oil that maxamizes hp. I would strongly recommend this oil, and yes I have noticed a Hugh difference in get up and go. The corolla has just as good acceleration if not better than my 98 Mercury Sable with a 3.0 liter engine. I'm not joking. It also handles very well. I would also recommend doing the tuneup yourself very easy to do and saved me about $150. Anyone wanting a gas sipper and reliability and performance in one small package, you have to at least take a look at a corolla.
