I am looking for a corona, and there are many at 1.8L btu say saloon EX, while from what I gather the saloon is NZ while the 1.8L is a NZ one?
I have just recently bought a 1992 Toyota Corona EX Saloon, for its age the engine is like brand new. It handles beautifully along the road. I think they are the most reliable car around. Has had some slight mods, and plan to do more. Currently done only 157,000kms and I can see it doing 300,000kms easy with little problems. Hope to own a GLX one day soon.
Hi all, just bought a 1992 Toyota Corona GL, I put it in for it's first service since I have owned it. Can anyone please tell me how much high Tension leads are?. The car has down about 255000km's.
I got a 1992 Toyota Corona recently, While the back seats are far too low, the general car visibility is excellent, the handling is nice and light for city driving, and for when you need to get somewhere, click off the overdrive, and plant, the needle kinda leaps to the right.
Excellent car.
I got a 92 GLX Corona in Oct'06, with 350,000km on the clock. Recently replaced the bushes on rear anti-sway bar and it's a totally different car now. Looking to re-power it soon - bit too much oil being left behind lately, but a really fun car to get around Wellington in.
What would cause the orange engine light to come on in a 1993 GL Corona? The owners manual says it's electrical. Any ideas as to what this may be?
Reference to orange dash board light. Look closely at light and see if it is in the shape of a car with tail lights showing. On the 1992 Corona Ex this indicates a bulb is not working.
Have just got myself a 94 1.8 Corona Select.
Does anybody know how to get a little bit more performance out of these motors?
