1986 Toyota Cressida review from North America
"A piece of junk!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The grounding wire from the battery had a short circuit causing a small fire in the engine.
License plate lights had to be replaced.
Replaced the factory headlights with even brighter ones.
Replaced corner lamp lights.
Replaced the turn signals in the front.
Body is rusted and painted over.
AM/FM radio works, but the tape deck is broken.
Some lights on the instrument are bad.
Glove box light does not work.
Passenger side headlight bulb will not stay in place.
Hubcaps are rusted and stained.
Air conditioner is broken.
Leaks a lot of oil.
The light that indicates the air condition is working is broken.
Rear deck is sun damaged.
Spare tire is missing.
Jack is missing.
Carpet is worn.
General comments?
This is the most awful vehicle that has been in the fleet of cars we have.
The steering wheel is difficult to turn.
The cup holders are awful.
There is little leg room.
