In the short time I ahve owned the car I have had to replace the following.
*Power steering pump seal
*radiator tank
*rear suspension bushes
*Shocks (had original shocks in it still, handling was like a wet sponge)
*rear brake shoes.
Electric aerial needs replacing, but I don't see the need, so does the passengers side rear window gearing (electric)
This car is an absolute beauty, in almost show room condition, paint and Interior A1 and performance from the EFI 2.8 is grand, can be a little sluggish in the intial off the mark at times, but a very toey car. suffers under Air-con usage though.
Gearbox is very well set out, kickdown is great and changes quite smooth though sometimes likes to thump back to first under hard stop when pulled up.
Over all a very nice smooth powerful old car with all the extras for a 19 yo like myself.
Well 14 months down the track and this car is still going strong.
After an accident in it (totally repaired) it cooked, and is not the first time after the new radiator having a hole in it too, amazingly the car has survived and still powering on.
After the mechanic putting in the power steering pump seal in a dodgy manner, it has lead to the replacement of a new alternator and new power steering pump as it was leaking into the alternator. $1000 in total, apart from that nothing has been done to it. keep you informed!
