1987 Toyota Long bed pick-up 1 ton review from North America
"It's a trooper"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Needed a new clutch around 130000 but that's because it was worked and it did have a lot of miles.
New radiator, but has hauled more than a ton numerous times.
Driver side seat wore bad because carried tools in back pocket.
General comments?
If you find a Toyota pickup and are thinking about getting it this is a great one for the money and for carrying loads pulling stuff so if there is a 4cylinder your looking at don't not get it because its not a 6.
The only bad thing about it is that since it is geared so low being a 1 ton if you go more than about 60 it will eat a little more gas.
Am getting another toyota since this truck has done so good on reliabilty and everything else.
