1992 Toyota MR2 GTS Turbo review from UK and Ireland
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Slight leak on the drivers side of the drainage hole on the roof, blocked up and leaking, apart from that nothing has gone wrong yet, only had it 6 days so we shall see.
Getting a good one can be a nightmare, mine is a Japanese import and you really should drive and see a few before you buy, don't buy a heavily modded one or you will be in problem city.
Most heavy modded Jap turbo's have been raced!
General comments?
H O W F A S T !!!!!!!!!!!
Got the shock of my life when I first put my foot down, 1992 model is 225bhp, 1994 model is 248bhp, mine will do 0-60 in 5.8 and hits 158mph in standard form, but has larger wheels, performance exhaust and air filter, a real head turner, only thing I have against it is the fuel consumption. Driving easy and you can expect 300 miles out of a full tank at £36, drive like Satan on speed and you can expect 250 miles.
Faster than a Cossie, slower than the Enterprise.
This car is mad, get one as soon as you can.
