1995 Toyota MR2 GT-Turbo review from UK and Ireland
"It's a big fat hairy beast from hell"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Absolutely nothing has gone wrong with the car so far, just the usual things like pads, discs and oil needing to be replaced, the car is a gem.
General comments?
Just had a major engine re-tune, have spent 37,000 pounds on beefing up the engine to 721.9bhp, been a long time down the shop, getting everything chromed and stiffened.
This car is road going and kills everything on the road.
In standard form it would beat any Cosworth, never did like the Ford, did not feel like anything special, basically just an Escort with a spoiler, lots of replica ones and no real street cred, with the MR2, what you see is what you get....... ie a rear wheel drive mid engined sports car.
The stock turbo version is a demon from hell, but a modded one will kill an F1 car!
If you win the lottery, rush off and get yourself one!
