1989 Toyota MR2 Coupe review from UK and Ireland
"Excellent 80's sports car"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
My head gasket blew at 95,000 miles - fixed.
Rear arches rusted and were replaced.
Front brake disks warped and were replaced.
General comments?
Excellent car in general, good acceleration and unbelievable handling (except in the wet!).
Parts are readily available although not cheap.
Top quality engine that red-lines at about 8000rpm.
Check for rust, this is a common problem and is expensive to repair.
