"Stylish, exciting and reliable sportscar!"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

Seats starting to look worn.

Gearbox is a bit crunchy.

Intermittent fault with door lights.

General comments?

This is a brilliant car, the more you drive it the more you'll understand it's excellent handling capabilities. You just have to be careful on the bends in the wet. Good tyres are adviseable. It takes time to get used to the mid-engine and rear-wheel drive.

Power from the naturally aspirated 2 litre engine is impressive with 158bhp and a 0-60mph time of around 7.5 seconds. This can be improved with simple modifications such as induction kits and exhaust systems. The turbo model is considerably quicker.

The image of the mark 2 is excellent, a very stylish looking car which will get looks wherever you take it. There are options of bigger wheels, bodykits and other add-on parts, it looks nice enough as standard though.

The car is very comfortable to drive with nice low sportseats and fully adjustable steering wheel. All controls are easy to reach.

The import models tend to have better equipment levels including air conditioning, climate control and electric folding mirrors.

It's a myth that induction kits improve performance. I put a k and n on my Celica, it sounds better, but certainly doesn't go better!

Its not a myth, but to feel a noticeable difference you would need to couple the air filter with other mods, ie full exhaust system.
