1991 Toyota MR2 review from North America
"A car to buy, take care of well, and give to your children as an inheritance when you go"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Strut boots torn.
Air conditioner leaked Freon.
Audio system shorted out.
Rear spoiler loose.
General comments?
The MR2 is a very nice car. I am a student who was buying on a budget, so I had to settle for a poor little car that was abused by its previous owner. I have worked on nursing her back to health, but as soon as I graduate and start a career, I hope to buy another MR2 which is flawless. The stying, mechanicals, and overall feel of the car are timeless and unique. People still ask me if it's a new car (IT'S 9 YEARS OLD!!!).
