"Fast and fun ride with great reliability and gas mileage if maintenance is kept"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Spun a main bearing at 155000miles (previous owner seriously abused it).
Throwout bearing went bad (was old)
Idle is high (vacuum leak somewhere)
Driver seat has a hole worn in to it from daily use.
Suspension is old and needs replaced.
Exhaust is a joke. (i don't really have much of one)
General comments?
I bought the car in terrible condition.
Put a 5EFHE engine in it (out of a Toyota Cynos in Japan)
Engine performance is great.
Handles tight corners well, even with poor suspension.
Love the car.
If average maintenance is kept, car will last a long time.
