1989 Toyota Pickup review from North America
"Fun, reliable truck"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
November 2002 - Burnt out clutch, replaced original disc and pressure plate.
Christmas 2002 - FIRE!! Small electrical problem. Blew every fuse known to man, but easy fix.
January 2003 - Key ignition hole seems to be getting loose.
January 2003 - Brakes failed. Hit a snowplow.
New opinion: This truck is great if you don't live in Canada.
General comments?
Awesome all-around vehicle. Plenty of passing power, but the engine seems to kick out at about 175 km/h. Light little truck, hard to get around in snow, but easy to dig out of snowbanks.
