1989 Toyota Pickup SR5 review from North America
"Reliable!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Replaced the clutch at 285,000 miles.
Rebuilt the engine when the head gasket started to leak at 297,200 miles.
Replaced the oxygen sensor at 296,000 miles.
Replaced the throttle position sensor at 295,700 miles.
General comments?
This is an outstanding truck!
It has high mileage, but it runs like new!
I need a new exhaust system, but it is very, very reliable!
This truck took me through 2 feet of snow with out a problem!
I paid $1500 for this truck 4 years ago!
