1993 Toyota Pickup Standard review from North America
"A highly reliable and cheap to maintain"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
New starter, alternator and battery at 100,000 miles.
No major problems with any main motor components or electrical other than tune-up. Routine maintenance only.
General comments?
Very strong running 4cyl. Handles very well on or off road. Awesome gas mileage, approximately 32-38mpg.
The bench seat needs to be replaced from regular wear.
I've driven this truck across the US a couple times and have no noticeable rust from salt or problems going up hill. I have thoroughly abused this vehicle in college and beyond. I don't think I could ever sell the Yoda.
