1989 Toyota Pickup hilux review from North America
"The best truck in the world"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The only bad thing that went wrong with the car is that the 2nd cylinder is starting to go bad, but a car with high mileage like this little things always go wrong, but the parts are so cheap it doesn't matter a new engine was $600.
General comments?
This was the greatest car ever 25 mpg, comfortable, and reliable. As I might add very safe also I got t boned by a lady going 70 mph and after exchanging info I srove it away, and another accident getting side swiped and yet again driving away while the other cars were totaled. The 22R engone is the greatest engine ever! along with the manual 4 speed transmission you can definitely haul ass in these things and they're killer for off roading also! definitely buy this truck if you get the chance you'll be making the right choice!
