1990 Toyota Previa DX review from North America
"A great idea concept that is reliable, too bad it dosn't fit American tastes"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The only thing not working in the Air conditioner,it works just needs expensive r-12 freon.
Other than that stop light switch has failed and the radiator Hose tubes from front to rear have leaked (minor)
General comments?
I Wish it was still made for America I love this Odd van. It Is perfectly balanced and handles like a sports car. Two Drive shafts off of one engine and oil add system and dependability have sold me on Toyota. With 200K miles now it just keeps going not even a water pump or timing chain! (or Oil Leak!)
I have started doing the maintenance my self, 1 st spark plugs were in 120K miles as dealer didn't know how to change them, (but charged us for them) Fast lube places are LOST under it so it is easier to get a manual and do it your self.
