2002 Toyota RAV4 Limited Edition Advantage review from Australia and New Zealand
"A stylish go anywhere car"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
So far so good. The quality of the car is good, but there are some areas of the car which can be of a concern. The quality of the seats is questionable and when you do drive over a dirt road, the dash board tends to shake a lot. I have an automatic so if you want to overtake the car next to you from the traffic lights, you do have to press the gas pedal hard and it can become a bit noisy.
General comments?
The car is very easy to drive with a high Driving Position. The controls are within easy reach and the placement of switches is very logical. I have appreciated key features within the car such as the "Slide-able" rear seats. I have been able to fit a dishwasher in the back without having to fold the seats down. (I do have the 5-Door Model). The car is very economical and servicing prices is what you would expect to service a medium sized family car. I would recommend anyone interested in buying a small SUV to buy the RAV4.
