General comments?
Well the 2004 Sienna XLE Limited AWD is a super luxury vehicle that we bought over a Land Cruiser!
The problem is that the car is only that when it isn't driving!
All the problems occurred at 8,000 miles, which is when it was summer here in Sacramento.
We bought the car in December and in July when it gets to 100, the A/C had to be on, then the car can't for its life accelerate. Then in winter the heater was funny and the inside was always steamy and the defroster wouldn't work. We then took it in the snow where the AWD wouldn't work. Florin Road Toyota and Elk Grove Toyota were NO help!!! After 18 visits WE figured out that there was one problem that made all of these things go wrong.
Then at 21,000 miles the car needed new $1200 tires. We had it with Toyota not fixing the problem. We had an Explorer that lasted 6years, 165,000 miles running great (there were problems, but Ford fixed them, UNLIKE Toyota).
The car was great with the wood and leather, dvd player, 3 power doors, surround sound, and laser cruise control. But at over $40k the car with so many problems just didn't work with us. We knew the problems could be fixed, but they NEEDED to be fixed and our two dealers (owned by one person) wasn't there to fix them. We sold the car with new tires and brakes with plenty of warranty and knowing that they had a dealer who would fix the problems (when we got stuck in the snow they fixed our "frozen open" doors this dealer helped us). We just had it with Toyota and bought another great VW Passat with some awesome service.
When we went to Toyota to fix the problems they offered us to buy it from us for a third of what we paid for it. We left the dealer knowing we won't a buy another Toyota.
