2006 Toyota Sienna Limited review from North America

I purchased this vehicle as a dealer demo on 6/1/06. The battery was dead the day after I bought the vehicle. The service department brought a new battery to my home, however an initial trip had to be cancelled due to a vehicle that did not start.

The rear a/c did not work when I bought the car. I did not notice this until I took delivery of the vehicle.

The DVD player did not work when I bought the vehicle. This was not known until after I took delivery of the vehicle.

Today, 10/3/06, I took the vehicle to the dealership for the third time to have the rear a/c repaired.

This was the 5th trip to the dealership for repairs, since the purchase, four months ago.

The individuals in the service department were very polite and apologetic regarding all my inconveniences.

I found it very strange that I never received a customer satisfaction survey regarding the purchase of the vehicle, nor did I receive a customer satisfaction survey for any of the service visits I had to date.

My 2006 Toyota Sienna Limited is truly a beautiful vehicle and handles like a dream.

The point of my letter is to let consumers know that customer satisfaction surveys are meaningless. The dealership simply chooses to "delete" any survey that may come back less than satisfactory.
