1988 Toyota Soarer GZ20 review from UK and Ireland
"Well built retro coupe"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Not a lot:
Clutch was gone when I bought it.
Cruise control doesn't work.
General comments?
Very well built, easy to work on & maintain. Totota common parts are everywhere so fairly easy to maintain. I drove it round for a few months before converting it into its new role destined for a slightly harder life than before.
Has now been stripped out & converted into a D1 GB Drift car running 260bhp on the original engine. Uprated suspension, LSD, six point cage, fire extinguishers etc. This car does sideways!!
