1999 Toyota Solara SLE V6 review from North America
"I would buy the solara in a heartbeat and I will be in the spring"
General comments?
I bought the car in 2002 (?) I had to slap new tires on it which was fine because I dumped the standard manufacturer and upgraded to TOYO. Increased handling.
At 75000 I followed up with the suggested timing belt change. While they (dealership) were in the engine They called and asked if I wanted all the seals refit and some other things. That thing seemed like it was on speed drove great.
Unfortunately an 85 yr old (who shouldn't have been riding s bike let alone driving a car). We were stopped for constr5uction on 75? near Valdosta GA. He plowed right in to us. No brakes no skid marks nothing. The SOB gets out of his car looks at me and asks "who hit you"?
I firmly believe that if this were any other car I would be dead.
