This is the best car that I have ever owned. No other vehicle that I have been in rides as smooth as this vehicle. My next car will be another model year of the Solara or, a Lexus.
When you see the rather unusual styling of the new
Solara (it looks like a Saab morphed with a Sebring) you'll buy a Lexus. The Japanese still have a way to go when it comes to styling automobiles.
...and wouldn't Lexus be Japanese?
HAHA not only is Lexus Japanese... But Lexus IS Toyota. A Lexus is a "high end" Toyota. A Scion is also a Toyota. For further info an Infiniti is a Nissan. An Acura is a Honda. Ford owns Lincoln, Mercury, Mazda, and Volvo. And Chevrolet or GM owns Buick, Cadillac, GMC, Hummer, Pontiac, Saab, and Saturn. It's a small world after all.
I just bought a 2000 Solara SLE loaded, near new condition off a car lot. Needed a decent car for my wife. Thought about buying a new car around 15 to 20k +- but after looking around, I found this car, negotiated to 7,500 from 12,000 sticker. This car is everything I've been looking for in a vehicle and can't believe I never paid attention to a Solara before. I'm glad I didn't buy a new car. I got so much with this one for the price. We are both pleased so far. I'm looking for another one that I can drive for me now. No complaints yet.
We purchased a '00 Solara convertible 4cyl auto from a lot in Texas last year and we love it very much. This year we moved into the city and so I have a 2 hour drive to and from work so we sold the Corolla we had and bought me a beautiful '00 Solara with V6 standard and low miles for the highway. I love this car and it looks/drives soooo nice, we will keep this one for a long time! Tim.
