2000 Toyota Solara review from North America
"Good product, but did not live up to expectations"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Major Issues
* Steering/Suspension - Right & Left Rear Bearing/Joints Replaced Twice on Car in 5 years. Once under warranty and recently out of warranty. Costly repair $1,000.
* Enginee Computer Sensors Failed at 45,000 miles
Minor Issue
* Right door misaligned when car first bought. Quick fix, but a hassle.
General comments?
* Disappointing to see steering/suspension failure (twice) when parts should last a rarely needing replacement during 5 years of car ownership. Expected better from Toyota.
