This Soluna is superbly comfortable and powerful. I like the quality of engine, however its exterior design is relatively boring.
The dashboard and interior are very minimum, but functional.
Like my previous Toyotas, this car has never given me major problems. The engine was very reliable and durable as well as its interior components.
When I used the car, I just changed the required components regularly as suggested in the users manual (e.g. air and oil filters, engine, brake and power steering oils, brake pads).
The car was launched as an affordable compact family sedan and designated for some countries, mostly in Asia.
Its model (both the exterior and interior) is very outdated.
In my country, this car unfortunately was used as taxi so its price went down significantly.
One positive point, I think the taxi company uses this car because of its reliability, durability and fuel efficiency. They still use Soluna nowadays.
I bought a Soluna GLI 2000 Model, but getting Spares is a big Problem. There is no site or Toyota Dealer world wide who has Spares for this Particular Car.
I am going to buy a Soluna GLi 2000 as the price right now is very competitive. Hopefully in the future it will still be the same. I know the car is used as a taxi, but because it's TOYOTA I am not afraid.
In general, the car is good, but now I'm finding it very difficult to find good shock absorbers for this car. Is there anyone who knows where to get good shock absorbers for this car?
Well, I agreed Toyota Soluna is the most outstanding car in term of power and fuel consumption. Mine can reach up 14 km/litre, speed reached 150km/hours... Am so happy with it, that's why I call it my "Sweet Luna"...
Imran.
