1994 Toyota Starlet SE-G review from Indonesia
"Fun to drive, convenient, and reliable small car"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Left side power window often stuck, will go down but not up from its switch.
Must use main switch (driver's door) to close it.
Toyota claimed top speed is 170 km/h, but it won't go higher than 160 km/h.
Sometimes I hear noise from the back (suspension?).
Needs more power.
General comments?
A nice and generally reliable little car.
New price was more expensive than other small cars, but holds the value well.
This SE-G model is much more luxurious than the popular XLi. Power windows, door locks, fog lights, Alpine Premium sound, leather wrapped
steering wheel and shift knob are standard.
Standard front stabilizer and optional JDM strut bar make the handling even better... fun to drive like a Celica.
