1989 Toyota Supra Turbo review from North America

I had to replace the water pump.

The driver seat is worn, but you have to expect that with everyday driving on leather. I'm going to get this fixed anyway.

I had to replace the alternator.

Other than that the car is solid as a rock!

The Toyota Supra is one of the most elite in cheap supercars (costing less than $50,000). My Supra was my first car and I've had it for two years and there still isn't a car that is for sale and the same price as mine that has as many options or looks as nice.

This car has more options than I can even use. The eight way power seat can make it comfortable enough to sleep in, and the leather helps out that much more. The power everything helps adjust anything I want at the touch of a button. The targa top can allow me to enjoy nice summer days in a snap. Of course the turbo gives me more power that I love to have it in case someone wants to get a little rowdy at a stop light.

The handling is one of a kind. It turns and stops on a dime, although I did upgrade my rotors to brembo cross drilled slotted, but it stopped amazingly well with the anti-lock brakes before I upgraded.

The car looks amazing from the outside, and it looks far newer than a 1989 and the white/blue combination looks spectacular. Also, if you ever want to make your car look or sound better they make just about every performance and body kit upgrade for Supras now.

Overall, for the price I paid, it would be very difficult to find a car of this caliber when it comes to looks, speed, and overall performance. I highly recommend a car like this to anyone looking for very very nice car.
