1986 Toyota Supra 3.0 i review from UK and Ireland
"Clever engineering and design, but no soul"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Nothing.
General comments?
A very, very reliable car.
Lots of gizmos, including and electric sunroof and cruise control.
This car was bullet-proof mechanically, and was pretty fast, but it had no soul.
The design and the way it was engineered was very advanced for its time and very clever, but was too clinical. It didn't feel like it had been designed with any passion.
Being a pretty soul-less car I never really warmed to it in the same way as the Mustang I owned before. It wasn't long before I bought another Mustang!
