1986 Toyota Supra J-Spec Sport from North America - Comments

"Best car ever... 'stang killer for under 6k!:)"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

My clutch master cylinder constantly leaks and I am too cheap and lazy to replace it.

The A/C doesn't work, (My fault).

I did a full top-end rebuild at 110,000 even though nothing was wrong with it just to be safe and get more power.

She has been modified a lot since I got her, and nothing has gone wrong yet.

General comments?

This is the best car I have ever driven, and I've had quite a few nice ones... I wouldn't sell it for anything... and I've been offered $10,000 at a car show.

You just have to love paying $5000 for a car with a non-turbo, 24valve, DOHC straight six and stomping all over V8 mustangs and some vettes after a few hours in the driveway and for less than $600 in parts... oh, and not to mention a top speed of 157mph... not bad at all for 1986.

She is very fast, handles great, and is very dependable... not bad... oh, and did I mention still 23mpg with mods? ¿Sweet isn't it?

Hi!

Can you share us more on how to make the Supra 1986 more upgrades or faster. So far my 5 spd. Supra got a carbon fiber exhaust, Bosch 4 prong spark plugs, turbo transmission and clutch, pressure plate.

Thank you very much.
