1988 Toyota Supra Non-Turbo review from North America
"I will never part with this car!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The electrical windows stopped working.
The rear lights kept shorting out.
Had to replace the battery cable.
Interior is worn.
General comments?
I absolutely love this car, and will never part with it.
My only sorrow right now is that I have to drive it to work, I want to park it and to start restoring it to its former glory.
The biggest surprise I have had when it comes to drive-ability, is that the car actually handles great in snow!!!
On dry asphalt, which it is made for, it is an absolute dream ride. The seats adjust to cushion you in, and the engines response is substantial.
Like the Camaro I once owned, the drive train is built for speed, it sucks the car down to the surface during curves, and has amazing road feel.
I have no complaints about this car whatsoever. It has been a reliable friend for 5 years now, despite its high miles. The few minor issues it has had, is something you can expect for a car this old.
