"Feast and furious, with a lot of potential!"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

Corrosion to rear arches,

front lower swivels,

head gasket problems on some models (due to incorrect torque settings from factory assembly)

Exhaust manifold gasket prone to blowing.

General comments?

General build quality is excellent,

Road holding superb, steering and suspension make the driver feel like an expert!.

Engines are very strong and powerful if well maintained.

A.B.S braking system faultless and very powerful, for example (on a private road) you can do 100 mph and hit the brakes full on. The car will pull up straight as a die with no skidding, wandering.

The car will go as well as it stops!

Handling is fantastic, being rear wheel drive, it's possible to have the rear break away on damp roads, but this is easy to control with the throttle.

You have 204 HP as standard, and there is plenty of scope to up this figure by way of Re mapping the ECU,

Air flow meter adjustments, and even the coolant temp' sensor can be spliced into by way of a variable resistor adjustment to give power gains while on the move!.

Interior design is plush, but rear seats are cosmetic!, unless you're a midget.

Driver's seat is adjustable to squeeze you tight for hard driving, and a lower back support can (by way of the same switch) be pushed into your lower back for more comfort.

Instrumentation is comprehensive, showing, oil press',battery charge, water temp',fuel level, cruise control...on, + the usual idiot lights you would expect from all other cars.

Early versions of this model had... (adequate) audio sound systems and speakers built in.

Later versions had very nice Sony CD/cassette/radios, with much improved speakers, as standard fittings.

Air conditioning is a standard fitting, and works very well, but must be used all year round to avoid failure of the seals in the system, leading to expensive re-gassing in the summer!.

This car is now becoming a classic, and many poor examples exist, due to the high cost of parts. If you find a good one... hang on to it, as their price can only increase!!.

Got mine from a private owner. He abused the engine.

And gave it for me for free. I spent 2k on the head, got rip off by the mechanic.

After that I upgraded the carbon cat muffler with silencer, KnN filter, 4 prongs fusion bosch spark plugs, 5 speed turbo transmission.

Got call for the director to shoot "Go for it" as a supedup ghetto car, poor mans Ferrari. The car got scratched by the camera crew and actor runs it to the other car, hit the bumper, painted for $420.00, paid by the producer plus $200. For that 11 hours shoot.

Every one on the set had a head turn when it purrrs like a cat.

Next, crossing my finger to do a info commercial wax.

And so on so forth. The 1day paint did really a good job.

Next I will upgrade to carbon fiber hood, make it have a lighter body, 2jz twin turbos, nitros, rocket jets on both side of the panel. Just like in the truck vs. air plane youtube.com if money permits.
