1989 Toyota Supra Turbo review from North America
"Great performance car to have if you can afford to maintain it"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Head Gasket on the car has blow twice. But I have put on a Metal Head Gasket and now it is fine.
Car sometimes uses a lot of water when driven hard.
General comments?
The parts for this car are not cheap. So if you buy one make sure you have the budget to maintain it.
Car is a bit slow of the line, compared to a Mustang or Camaro, but on the highway a Mustang or Camaro can't catch touch it.
This car handles very well at high speeds. It is not the best in tight turns due to its size. But at high speeds it handles beautifully. You can be cruising at 90 mph and not even know.
