1987 Toyota Supra Non Turbo Auto review from North America

The stock fog lights were working when I purchased it and now they don't work at all. The check engine light stays lit and I need to check that out. The passenger side power window switch doesn't work so I have to use the master switch on my side to lower the window. This car does have AC and it's not blowing cool air, but that may just mean there's no freon in the car. Also the heater needs to be repaired and it's tuff at times when it's cold, but spring is just around the corner. Overrall the car is stock and most of the things are working, but now the Radio needs some attention. The enterior needs some work, but it's not too bad. The passenger side seat is a little ripped, but I know exactly where to go for that. Fortunately I live only 30 from Mexico and this is where I get all my car needs done. The trunk lid would not open and the release cable would not pop open the trunk so I took the car down to Tijuanna and for those who are reading you will not believe what I spent. This guy took almost 6 hours to fix the problem. I could not believe what I spent because he removed almost the entire entire of the car just to fix a simple trunk lid lock. I have him $30.00 and he was extremely greatful for my work. I am very fortunate that I live near Mexico becuase they are a secret weapon when you have any type of car need. I plan to get the enterior done there, the electrical done, and the car to be detailed there as well. Then I do want to get after market rims and my stereo installed.

This car is actually a Godsent at the time I needed a vehicle. The previous owner sold it for a unbelievable price and I jumped on it. The ride was extremely ruff and I drove it for the first time I just wanted a car that drove from point A to point B. I later asked a mobile mechanic that was fixing my friends car at the time and asked him if he can take a quick look at the car. He pulled out the spark plug cable and WOW to my suprise I saw so much green corrosion around the contacts. It was so bad that it was like green powder pouring out when the cable was yanked out. I simply replaced the plugs, cable, cap & roter and what a difference. The pickup is unbelievable and it has a lot smooother ride than before. The price that I got is for is just so embarrasing that all I'll say is I could now sell it for 5 times the price I bought it for, but I love the car way too much. So far I've been attacking little things at a time. All in all I canot believe that I own such a nice car. I sometimes take my breaks from work just to take a quick stare at my new baby. "SUPRA" because she looks so gorgeous. Yes you can say this is now a dream come true.
