1991 Toyota Tercel DX review from North America

Have had to replace all strut mounts.

Have had to replace all struts.

Have had to replace battery.)

Replaced Alternator.

Replaced tire all the way around.

Replaced Clutch.

Replaced fuel filler pipe, (rusted out)

Replaced all brake shoes and pads.

Replaced all coil springs.

Replaced the enitre exhast system.

Replaced e-brake cables.

Replaced wiper blades.

Replaced both front wheel bearings.

Repalced both front headlight bulbs.

Had the entire motor rebuilt. Was burning a liter of oil weekly, then one of the cyliners died. Was running on 3 cylinders for a while.

This car isn't too bad, Even though everything on it is new and it has costed me more money than its actually worth, it always starts up and get me where I need to go.

It seems to rusting around the rear wheels, but other than that its not too bad rust wise. I fixed that with some exact match spay paint.

The body of the car seems to hold up well, condidering the way I drive it. It still has a like new finish, which is why if continue to fix it.

With the new piston rings it has lots of power. Way faster than my friends 93 honda civic. Farly fast car as well. Don't like the narrow tires mcuh. Might switch for wider ones soon. Doesn't seem to hidroplane with narrow tires so that's good. Can go down the highway at 130km/h in poring rain and not even lift of the road. My moms Intrepid floats on the highway. Can't go over 80 km/h. Has supper wide tires!
